I’m honored and humbled to share that the Cocoa Beach Professional Firefighters, Local 3570, are supporting my campaign for Cocoa Beach City Commissioner, Seat 5.

The people who run toward emergencies while everyone else moves away don’t hand out their trust lightly. Having their support means a great deal to me, and I want to say thank you.

Why the Firefighters’ Support Matters

Firefighters see our community in ways the rest of us rarely do. They respond on our busiest beach days, during storms, and in the moments residents and visitors need help most. They know what it takes to keep Cocoa Beach safe because they do that work every day.

When the professional firefighters who serve our city support a candidate, it says something about that candidate’s commitment to public safety, and that commitment is what I have tried to bring to City Hall.

My Commitment to Public Safety

During my eight years as a Cocoa Beach City Commissioner (2016–2024), I consistently supported our Police and Fire Departments and helped commission the new Police Department facility. Public safety remains one of my core priorities for Seat 5:

• Support and strengthen our Fire and Police Departments
• Champion water safety and drowning prevention efforts along our beaches and waterways
• Promote fiscal responsibility so the City can invest in the people and equipment that keep us safe
• Protect our natural resources, including our beaches and waterways, for future generations

Why Public Safety Is a Local Election Issue

Fire response, police services, and beach safety are funded and directed at the local level. The City Commission votes on budgets, staffing, and priorities that determine how well our first responders can do their jobs. Every resident who votes in the November 3, 2026 election helps decide who sits on the dais for those decisions.
