Cocoa Beach doesn’t need to be reinvented — it needs to be protected and thoughtfully strengthened. I believe in progress that respects our roots: growing our local economy and exploring smart new revenue solutions without compromising the small-town, family-friendly charm that makes this city special. Redevelopment should enhance our community, not erase what makes it home — honoring the surf and space coast heritage, the resort atmosphere our City Charter protects, and the tight-knit spirit that brings neighbors together. Who i am

About Me

I’m Karalyn Woulas, a proud Cocoa Beach resident, local businesswoman, and your two-term City Commissioner (2016–2024), running for Seat 5. I hold degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mathematics from FIT, a Master’s in Project Management from Embry-Riddle, and I’m a Commercial Instrument-Rated Pilot. As an Aerospace Engineer for the U.S. Space Force, I support the Artemis Program and the Navy Trident Missile Program, working alongside senior government and military leaders. I’m committed to fiscal responsibility, supporting local businesses, protecting our beaches and waterways, and preserving the family-friendly, resort community spirit of our City Charter — all while honoring our surf and space coast heritage. I’d be honored to keep serving the city I call home.
