I’m honored to announce that the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) J.W. Dunn Lodge #37 has endorsed my campaign for Cocoa Beach City Commission Seat 5!

This endorsement means a great deal to me because public safety has always been one of my priorities. I believe Cocoa Beach residents deserve a city that supports its first responders, takes safety seriously, and makes thoughtful decisions about the services our community depends on.
I’m grateful to the members of Lodge #37 and the Cocoa Beach Police Officers’ collective bargaining unit for their support and confidence in my candidacy.
The Only Seat 5 Candidate Endorsed by Both Police and Firefighters Unions
With this latest endorsement from the Fraternal Order of Police, I am proud to be the only candidate in the Cocoa Beach City Commission Seat 5 race endorsed by both the police and firefighters unions.
I previously received the endorsement of Cocoa Beach Professional Firefighters Local 3570. Now, with the support of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #37, I’m honored to have the backing of both organizations representing the professionals who help protect our community.
Our police officers and firefighters serve Cocoa Beach residents and visitors in situations that demand training, preparation, teamwork, and sound judgment. Their work is an essential part of keeping our community safe.
I appreciate the confidence these organizations have placed in me, and I take that support seriously.
Public Safety Is a Priority for Cocoa Beach
During my eight years serving as a Cocoa Beach City Commissioner, from 2016 through 2024, I worked alongside fellow commissioners, city staff, and community members on issues affecting our city.
My priorities for Cocoa Beach include strengthening public safety services, championing water safety and drowning prevention, protecting our beaches and waterways, supporting local businesses, and promoting fiscal responsibility.
As a local businesswoman and aerospace engineer with degrees in aerospace engineering and applied mathematics, along with a master’s degree in project management, I value preparation, accountability, and practical problem-solving. I believe those principles matter when making decisions about our city’s future.
Public safety is not just about responding when something goes wrong. It also means planning ahead, listening to the people who serve on the front lines, and making responsible decisions that help our community thrive.
Protecting What Makes Cocoa Beach Special
Cocoa Beach is more than a destination. It’s home. It’s where neighbors look out for one another, local businesses build relationships, and families enjoy our beaches, waterways, and unique small-town character.
As I seek to return to the City Commission, I want to help preserve what makes Cocoa Beach special while ensuring our city continues to meet the needs of residents.
That means supporting public safety, protecting our natural environment, encouraging responsible redevelopment, and making careful financial decisions.
I believe we can plan for the future without losing sight of the people who make Cocoa Beach such a wonderful place to live.
